Refunds / Cancellations
Refunds, minus a 5% service processing fee, are only given for class/event cancellations that occur at least 72 hours prior to the class/event start date. Effective December 1, 2020, credit for courses, workshops, sessions will not be given without Owner or Manager approval and, if approved, will expire if not used within 60 days.
In our commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our clients and their pets, we want to inform you about our policy regarding class cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, Local/State/National emergencies, or acts of God.
While we will make every effort to complete all training sessions as planned, certain situations beyond our control may preclude us from offering makeup classes. We understand the importance of consistent training, and we appreciate your understanding in these exceptional circumstances.
Unforeseen Circumstances - In the event of class cancellation due to weather, emergency, or an act of God, please be aware that a makeup class may not be offered. Our priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, clients, and pets, and decisions will be made with this in mind.

Switching Courses / Sessions
Dogs may not be moved out of one class and into a subsequent class unless the move occurs at least 72 hours prior to the start date of class the dog is moving out of. This allows us time to fill the spot being vacated.
Discounts
Return Student Discount: Once you've registered and paid for your first class through our online registration system you will then be automatically eligible for a return student discount of $10 off each subsequent six week class you register for. (The Return Student Discount does not apply to any workshops or seminars less than six weeks in length).
Rescue Dog Discount: A $10 rescue dog discount is available only for a new-to-Alaska Dog Sports rescue owner (all other returning students receive the Return Student Discount listed above) and can be used for the rescue dog's first six week class with AK Dog Sports registered for within six months of the adoption date from an Animal Shelter or a recognized rescue organization (as determined by AK Dog Sports). Please email a copy of your adoption contract to receive a Promo Code to use at checkout to adminstaff@akdogsports.com. Rescue discounts will not be refunded if the class is paid for without using Promo Code. (The Rescue Dog Discount does not apply to any workshops or seminars less than six weeks in length.)

Payment & Confirmation
How do I confirm I'm registered in a class/event?
Your registration is not complete and your spot in a class/event is not secured until payment has been received.
You will receive a confirmation email once payment has been received - if you do not receive a confirmation email, your spot in class is NOT secured!! Contact us ASAP if you made payment but did not receive a confirmation email! Payment online is the fastest way to secure a spot, but payment can be mailed or completed in person at our facility during our open admin hours (Monday and Thursday 5:30-7:30 or Saturday 10:00 - 1:00). Once payment has been received, an auto-generated email confirmation is sent. If you have not received an email confirmation within 12 hours of completing payment, please check with us quickly!
Can I pay by cash, check or credit card?
It is recommended that you complete payment within our online registration system to secure your spot in the class (our classes fill quickly!). You may also register and pay in person during our facility open admin hours. You may mail a check to our mailing address: Alaska Dog Sports, LLC, PO Box PO Box 232521, Anchorage, AK 99523, but your spot in the class will not be confirmed until payment is received. With our online registration system you can pay using a PayPal account OR with any major credit card or debit card.
You do not have to have a paypal account! Click on the "checkout with paypal" link and once there you can opt to pay with a debit or credit card by clicking on the "Don't have a PayPal account?" link that appears!
