Classes We Offer

All of our classes are structured to provide a positive and productive learning environment. We limit most of our classes to 8 or fewer dog/handler teams to provide more individualized training and assistance while reaping the benefits that come with a group setting.

Please go to our Class Schedule & Registration page -
click on any class listed in our upcoming class schedule to see descriptions and prerequisites.  If you don't see a class you're interested in, check back often as we add new classes frequently!  Be sure to review our FAQ page for important information before registering.

Nose Work Classes
Nose Work is a search and scenting activity for virtually all dogs and people. This easy to learn activity and sport builds confidence and focus in many dogs, and provides a safe way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise.  The beginning level for Nose Work is our NW101 class, required before advancing into other nose work classes.

Behavioral Classes:
  • Reactive Rover
  • Nervous Nellie
  • Self Control Basics
  • Frantic Fido: Beyond Self Control Basics

The Reactive Rover class is for dogs that pull, lunge and bark at other dogs.

The Nervous Nellie class is for dogs that are lacking in confidence, fearful and uncertain or anxious in situations outside of their normal activities and routines.  These dogs typically hide behind their owners rather than barking and lunging forward. They may exhibit behaviors such as cowering, shaking, trying to escape situations, etc.

Self Control Basics is a 3 week workshop on teaching attention, wait, leave it, off, and other self control behaviors.  This class is a prerequisite for Frantic Fido: Beyond Self Control Basics.

Frantic Fido: Beyond Self Control Basics class is for dogs lacking impulse control and the ability to be self-controlled in their behaviors. Behaviors taught include rev up/cool down, teaching an "off switch," coming and going calm behaviors, settle, controlled greetings, body handling & restraint, default sit or down, etc.  (We are combining our Click to Calm and Frantic Fido class into this one class.)
